Clinic Accessibility Checklist (Word document)

This accessibility checklist was developed by U-M CDHW and Interpreter Services to enable ambulatory care clinics to take inventory of the resources available at their clinic. Resources on this clinic accessibility checklist include physical equipment, in addition to clinic staff skills. This can help identify existing accessibility tools and resources and highlight gaps that need to be addressed. 

Implementing Modifications to the COVID-19 Mask and Visitor Policy

Please see Michigan Medicine’s Visitor Guidelines During COVID-19, including the Guidelines for Supporting Adult Patients with Disabilities During the COVID-19 Public Health Emergency. To our knowledge, no Michigan Medicine guidance is available on mask policy modifications. Questions regarding policy modifications should be referred to Patient Relations and Clinical Risk at 734-936-4330. 

Procuring Clear Masks

Michigan Medicine has approved clear masks for use with patients. Order the Safe N Clear “Communicator” mask through the supply chain (Item # 82295).
