Biography

As Emerging Technologies Librarian for the Health Sciences, Patricia works with social, semantic, and emerging technologies, identifying trends relevant to the educational, research, clinical and creative endeavors of the University of Michigan. She provides resources, tips, training, workshops, consultations, and collaboration, and more.

She teaches about emerging trends and technologies, social media, graphic medicine, and evidence based healthcare (EBHC). She publishes and collaborates on research projects, such as systematic reviews and scoping reviews, as well as serving as a research methodologies consultant. Her own research focuses on combining EBHC methods with other quantitative and qualitative research methodologies. She supports students, faculty, clinicians, and researchers working in the areas of disability, microbiome, precision health, and learning health sciences.
