Mr. Forchheimer works in the Department of PM&R at the University of Michigan. His research interests include community integration, aging, pain, bowel & bladder dysfunction, spirituality and caregiving. His work has concerned spinal cord injury and disease, amputation, ALS and post-polio. He has worked on medical and psychosocial clinical trials, and measurement development and literature reviews, along with other issues, including aging with disability and caregiving.
