Biography

Dr. Reber is a qualitative methodologist with a PhD in Justice Studies from Arizona State University. She has a non-traditional, interdisciplinary background and extensive expertise in navigating international and intercultural experiences. Her research-foci reflects her interests in health inequities, the social determinants of health and well-being, and their impact. Her research focuses on marginalized populations and the social systems that perpetuate inequality. Her recent research with people with disabilities builds on her previous work with migrant workers in Dubai, UAE, and reflects her desire to ensure that the research she conducts has the potential to make tangible contributions to reducing disparities in health and well-being and improving lives.
