Brandie Bentley, PhD, MSW

Dr. Brandie Bentley is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Center for Disability Health and Wellness. Her research focuses on advancing maternal health equity at the intersection of race/ethnicity and disability. With a background in Social Work and extensive training as a Full-Spectrum Doula, she is dedicated to addressing the intersectional effects of racism, ableism, and other forms of oppression through research and practice.

Tyler G. James, PhD, MCHES®

Tyler is a health education scientist, social epidemiologist, and health services researcher, working as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Michigan in the Department of Family Medicine. At the University of Michigan, he is working with the Center for Disability Health and Wellness and the Michigan Mixed Methods Program.
