IDEAL RRTC Webinar Series: Serving those Aging with a Long-Term Physical Disability during the COVID-19 Pandemic: Challenges, Successes, and Innovations

2:00 pm

The foundation of this webinar is a national survey of disability organizations developed by the Center for Health and Research Transformation (CHRT)which aimed to identify best practices for promoting successful aging with physical disabilities and to analyze the personal and environmental factors that influence the effectiveness of community living interventions among diverse communities.

Originally established prior to the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, the survey soon evolved to include the challenges, successes, and innovations developed by organizations as a response to this public health emergency. Our webinar will focus on innovative practices for promoting successful aging with physical disabilities during the COVID-19 pandemic. To support these findings, the webinar will include representatives from organizations working directly with people with disabilities who will share their unique perspectives.
