Part two of this series will give an overview of challenges and opportunities for physicians with disabilities, including how disability enriches the learning environment. The webinar will identify the key barriers for students with disabilities entering medicine, including ableist belief systems, outdated technical standards, and ableism in admissions. The webinar will also provide guidance and best practices for technical standards, communicating disability inclusion, and how to avoid the disconnect that occurs when disability inclusion is not addressed throughout the training environment.
