The IDEAL RRTC is pleased to announce a new series of free virtual events, to be hosted by one of our Community Partners, Detroit Disability Power.

Detroit Disability Power presents Community Conversations, a five-event series about the intersections of ableism, racism, and ageism.

This discussion will focus on how ableism shows up in caregiving and will feature perspectives from the following panelists: Naomi Ortiz (Poet, Writer, Facilitator, and Visual Artist), Nkenge Browner (mother & activist), Ani Grigorian (geriatric social worker and accessibility consultant) and Rhi Chester Bay (caregiver & healing arts practitioner), and will be moderated by Dessa Cosma (DDP Executive Director). Healing by Choice! will be partnering with DDP on this series to offer grounding exercises. ASL and CART provided.
