The University of Michigan Center for Disability Health and Wellness hosted our 2nd annual live panel discussion on Monday January 17th, 2022 in honor of Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day.  The discussion entitled, "Disability, Economic and Racial Justice - Impact on Wellbeing and Health Outcomes", continued to explore issues at the intersection of disability and race and discussed the role of healthcare and health care systems in partnering to create change. The panel discussion featured community activists and include Dr. Reshawna Chapple from the University of Central Florida, Mr. David Jaulus from Arizona State University, Ms. Jamie Junior from the City of Detroit as well as Dr. Lisa Reber of the University of Michigan.  Moderated by Michelle Meade, PhD, Co-Director, UM-CDHW.
